Destin Jet Ski Dolphin Tours | See These Amazing Creatures Up Close
Trade the tour-bus crowd for an open-throttle adventure. Our jet ski dolphin tour in Destin puts you on a Yamaha 3-seater WaveRunner, with a local guide leading you to the pods that swim, surf, and play in the waters around Crab Island, the East Pass, and the Choctawhatchee Bay. Because we launch directly across from Crab Island — not from the harbor — you spend your time riding instead of idling. Most riders are next to their first dolphin within minutes of pulling away from the dock.
Whether it is your first time on a WaveRunner or your tenth, our guided jet ski dolphin tours in Destin, FL are designed for sightings, not shortcuts. You get a one-hour guided ride plus a full 30 minutes of free time to keep exploring, all on well-maintained Yamaha jet skis with every piece of safety gear included.

Why Take A Jet Ski Dolphin Tour with Xtreme H2O
We are locally owned and operated, and every member of our team was born and raised on the Emerald Coast. That matters when you are trying to find dolphins. Our guides know which sandbars the pods favor in the morning, where the mothers and calves tend to surface, and how to position your WaveRunner so the dolphins come to you instead of the other way around.
Because our launch sits across from Crab Island on the north side of the East Pass Bridge, you are out of the no-wake zone in under two minutes. Other Destin watersports companies bury 30 minutes of your ride time in slow-speed harbor traffic. We do not. With Xtreme H2O, you get the WaveRunner for the entire time you paid for it.

How the tour runs, minute by minute
Plan to arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled tour. If you were born on or after January 1, 1988, you will complete the NASBLA temporary Florida boater test on-site for $3. We recommend taking the online boating license test online versus in the in-person option. Our dockhands fit life jackets, walk you through the throttle, and answer questions. Drivers must be at least 18 years old. Passengers must be at least 5 years old.
Once the briefing is done, the guide leads the group through the no-wake zone and out toward the active dolphin areas around Crab Island and the East Pass. Stop, idle, watch — then move when the pod moves. After roughly an hour on guide, you get 30 minutes of free time to ride, take pictures, or watch a curious dolphin surf the wake under your WaveRunner. Bring a waterproof phone case or a chest-mount camera; the sightings are usually closer than guests expect.
Jet ski dolphin tour pricing and reservations
The Destin jet ski dolphin tour is $150 per WaveRunner for a 1-hour guided ride plus 30 minutes of free time. Up to three riders can share a single Yamaha (combined weight not to exceed 350 lb, employee discretion). Fuel is included; there are no surcharges added at checkout.
We strongly recommend booking at least a day ahead, especially on weekends and during peak summer weeks. Walk-ups are welcome when WaveRunners are available, but a reservation guarantees your tour time and your ski. Prices are subject to change and exclude blackout dates around Memorial Day, Billy Bowlegs, July 4th, and Labor Day.
Where you will look for dolphins
Our local guides rotate between several productive areas depending on the tide, the time of day, and where the pods were last sighted. Expect to ride near Crab Island, along the East Pass, around Norriego Point, and into the calmer water of the Choctawhatchee Bay. Beyond bottlenose dolphins, riders frequently see sea turtles, black manta rays with wingspans of six feet or more, bald eagles, and osprey.
We follow ethical wildlife interaction practices: we do not chase, herd, or feed the dolphins. The local pods have learned to trust our team, which is why so many of our riders end a tour saying the dolphin came to them.
Book your Destin jet ski dolphin tour online or call to reserve. Sunrise and morning slots fill first; reserve early to lock in your time.
