How the tour runs, minute by minute
Plan to arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled tour. If you were born on or after January 1, 1988, you will complete the NASBLA temporary Florida boater test on-site for $3. We recommend taking the online boating license test online versus in the in-person option. Our dockhands fit life jackets, walk you through the throttle, and answer questions. Drivers must be at least 18 years old. Passengers must be at least 5 years old.
Once the briefing is done, the guide leads the group through the no-wake zone and out toward the active dolphin areas around Crab Island and the East Pass. Stop, idle, watch — then move when the pod moves. After roughly an hour on guide, you get 30 minutes of free time to ride, take pictures, or watch a curious dolphin surf the wake under your WaveRunner. Bring a waterproof phone case or a chest-mount camera; the sightings are usually closer than guests expect.

The Destin jet ski dolphin tour is $150 per WaveRunner for a 1-hour guided ride plus 30 minutes of free time. Up to three riders can share a single Yamaha (combined weight not to exceed 350 lb, employee discretion). Fuel is included; there are no surcharges added at checkout.
We strongly recommend booking at least a day ahead, especially on weekends and during peak summer weeks. Walk-ups are welcome when WaveRunners are available, but a reservation guarantees your tour time and your ski. Prices are subject to change and exclude blackout dates around Memorial Day, Billy Bowlegs, July 4th, and Labor Day.
Where you will look for dolphins
Our local guides rotate between several productive areas depending on the tide, the time of day, and where the pods were last sighted. Expect to ride near Crab Island, along the East Pass, around Norriego Point, and into the calmer water of the Choctawhatchee Bay. Beyond bottlenose dolphins, riders frequently see sea turtles, black manta rays with wingspans of six feet or more, bald eagles, and osprey.
We follow ethical wildlife interaction practices: we do not chase, herd, or feed the dolphins. The local pods have learned to trust our team, which is why so many of our riders end a tour saying the dolphin came to them.

Parking
Public parking is available at the Destin Marina (7 Calhoun Ave), first come, first served. Space is limited on high-volume days, so we recommend carpooling when possible. Check-In Process
Plan to arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled time and bring a valid photo ID for every driver. If you were born on or after January 1, 1988 and plan to drive a jet ski, Florida law requires a boater safety certificate — you can take the NASBLA temporary Florida boater test on-site for $3, but we recommend completing it online before you arrive to save time. After check-in, our dockhands fit your life jackets, give you a walk-through, and answer any questions before you launch.
Good to bring: reef-safe sunscreen, a hat with a strap, a phone strap or waterproof case for photos, and a small soft-sided cooler with drinks (no glass).
