You can expect giant trampolines everywhere you turn, but it’s not just about your basic trampolines. Here you can find Climbing Hill, the perfect place to climb AND jump. Then there’s the next stop which will have you hearing the Ying Yang Twins’ “drop” mainly because it’s called The Drop Zone, you can probably imagine what happens there. There’s also just the all-around Adventure Zone; and even a zone called The Wipeout, which we promise is the only time a wipeout can be considered fun. The excitement doesn’t stop there; there’s a Space Jam-style Slam Dunk Zone, Dodgeball, Runway, and Battle Beam. We haven’t even gotten to the laser tag or virtual reality. This is the kind of place where it would be nearly impossible not to have fun; come and see for yourself.
Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone
Onward to yet another February adventure: Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone is north west Florida’s largest family entertainment center, so if you thought the last place was wild, wait until you hear about this one. Just inside alone is 17,000 square feet, where you can find things like a redemption arcade, a 4D movie theater, laser tag, and Yogos Mogos, which is delicious frozen yogurt with all the toppings—the perfect sweet treat after the thrills. Now for the outside fun starting with prehistoric creatures…not real ones unfortunately but the next best thing, animatronic dinosaurs AND golf, the two together make golf extra fun. Not into dinosaurs? How about pirates? They have that too. If you feel like getting a workout in, try out their 60-foot rope course. But what makes this place special is the incredible amount of games. Maybe you’ve out-arcaded yourself, which is understandable considering this list. Fat Daddy’s has more than arcade games. Some of their most popular are Ticket Time, Wizard of Oz, The Giant, Prize Cranes, Ice Ball, Air Hockey, Hoops, Big Bass Wheel, and Jurassic Park. This place is like a less risky and child-friendly casino. Go and be a winner, winner chicken dinner no matter how well you play.
Crab Trap
When it comes to places to eat, nothing beats a name like “Crab Trap.” When in Florida, try some seafood. Head on over to the original Crab Trap that was created in 1991 at James Lee Park in Destin. This restaurant is known for its fresh fish, all thanks to their wild fish processing facility, known as the Seafood Commissary. When it comes to the dishes, you must try their signature hot crab dip or Alaskan crab legs. Enjoy a tasty meal with a view for an experience you won’t forget.
